When this option is checked, GoClick will build an invisible table to accurately locate all text and
images in a document. This method is the simplest way to mimic a page layout, and it produces web
pages that can be viewed by older (pre-4.0) browsers.
Combine text boxes when closer than [ ] points
GoClick creates text boxes to precisely locate every block of text in a document. Although this
produces very precise layouts, the large number of text boxes can make later editing of the web page
difficult. When this setting is checked, GoClick will try to combine text boxes that have the same left
edge and are vertically close by. This reduces the complexity of the web page while still preserving
most of the text placement. If you find that too many text boxes are being produced, enter a larger
number. If you prefer very precise layout at the expense of more text boxes, enter a smaller number or
un-check this setting.
Increase text box widths slightly
Some browsers and Web page editors require more horizontal space to display the same text. When
this setting is checked, GoClick will increase the width of text boxes to accommodate the greater width
requirements of many browsers and editors.
Note: This widening operation may move objects to the right on the page, which may cause some
objects to move with respect to others. If you wish to avoid this side effect, un-check this setting.
Keep page margins
Most printed documents have margins between the printed area the edge of the page. These settings
allow you to preserve the page margins from the original document.
